Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Kandy

Morning: Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to Kandy.
Afternoon: Explore the cultural capital of Kandy, starting with the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Evening: Enjoy a traditional cultural dance performance and stroll around Kandy Lake. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 2: Kandy to Sigiriya

Morning: Depart for Sigiriya, home to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Afternoon: Climb the ancient rock fortress, known as the "Lion's Rock," and explore the royal gardens and frescoes.
Evening: Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, another UNESCO site, famous for its ancient Buddhist murals and statues. Overnight stay in Sigiriya or Dambulla.

Day 3: Sigiriya to Colombo – Departure

We had a massage, saw a traditional dance show, went to a temple and climbed the Pidurangala Rock. He explained a lot to us about the country. And beside that was he a really friendly and nice guy. Samen met onze 3-jarige beklommen de Lion Rock en Sanju hielp ons daarbij en ging gezellig mee. Ook heeft hij ons een aantal keer gebracht en gehaald met z’n tuktuk. En hetzelfde voor familie van ons, die wat later aankwamen in Sri Lanka. Altijd fijn contact. En de kids kregen een mini tuktuk als aandenken, zo lief!
