Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Trincomalee

Morning: Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to Trincomalee on the East Coast.
Afternoon: Arrive in Trincomalee and check in to your beachside hotel. Relax and enjoy the pristine beaches.
Evening: Explore Trincomalee town or take a walk along the beach. Overnight stay in Trincomalee.

Day 2: Explore Trincomalee

Morning: Visit the Koneswaram Temple, perched high on a cliff with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.
Afternoon: Enjoy snorkeling or diving at Pigeon Island, one of Sri Lanka’s top marine national parks.
Evening: Relax at the beach or enjoy an optional Ayurvedic spa treatment. Overnight stay in Trincomalee.

Day 3: Trincomalee to Passikudah

Morning: After breakfast, transfer to Passikudah, known for its shallow coastline and calm waters.
Afternoon: Spend the day at leisure, enjoying the beautiful beach and clear waters of Passikudah.
Evening: Option to explore local attractions or relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Passikudah.

Day 4: Passikudah to Kandy

Morning: Depart for Kandy, enjoying the scenic drive through lush landscapes and rural villages.
Afternoon: Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most important religious sites in Sri Lanka.
Evening: Attend a cultural dance performance showcasing traditional Sri Lankan dances. Overnight stay in Kandy

Day 5: Explore Kandy

Morning: Take a city tour of Kandy, visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya and exploring the local markets.
Afternoon: Visit a nearby tea plantation to learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a tea tasting session.
Evening: Relax by Kandy Lake or visit the local handicraft shops. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 6: Kandy to Colombo

Morning: Depart for Colombo, stopping en route at a spice garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka’s spice heritage.
Afternoon: Arrive in Colombo and take a city tour visiting key attractions such as the Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and Galle Face Green.
Evening: Check in to your hotel in Colombo and enjoy your final evening in Sri Lanka.

Day 7: Colombo – Departure

Morning: Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Colombo.
Afternoon: Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight.

The drivers were always very punctual and the cars were all very comfortable and spacious with excellent air conditioning. The drivers are friendly and knowledgeable, and would often suggest wonderful places to visit along the way from one stop to another. Our drivers would often act as a tour guide as well as a driver! The Tour went over dambulla, sigeriya, polonnaruwa, habarana and the knuckle Mountains on the way. Sanju was very well informed what to recommend and which places to go (for exampel Tempels, UNESCO Heritage Sites, best place and Guide to do a Safari,  from where to see a sunrise/Sunset at best). After only these few days I felt like I have seen and expirienced so much in Sri Lanka. He explained  not only a lot about the culture, Religion and History of the country but also about the present day to day life.
He was a save Driver and took very good care of me. He is well known in the Community and an expirienced Guide. You will never need to worry about your safety in his presence and will have a fun time. I can highly recommend taking a Tour with Sanju! Thank you so much!

We had a massage, saw a traditional dance show, went to a temple and climbed the Pidurangala Rock. He explained a lot to us about the country. And beside that was he a really friendly and nice guy.
